Process:
- Normal operation check – Ensure LED lights function on mains power.
- Battery backup test – Simulate power failure to ensure battery takes over.
- Placement & signage inspection – Confirm lights are visible and correctly positioned.
- Reporting – Record compliance and schedule future tests.
Testing Frequency:
- Every 6 months – simulate power failure test.
- Regular inspections as per safety regulations.
